MODEL CO SHINE ULTRA LIP GLOSS IN STRIP TEASE: REVIEW AND PICTURES

Model Co Shine Ultra Lip Gloss Strip Tease

If searching the term “Strip Tease” led you here then I am afraid you may not be getting exactly what you are looking for. Those of you here to see the lip gloss, read on. Lip gloss is making a comeback and just in time for summer. A neutral gloss can be the perfect accompaniment to a pared back summer makeup look. I got this free with the April issue of Glamour magazine but you can buy it for €14 on the Model Co website, although the delivery is a bit steep so maybe keep an eye out for it in other retailers.

Strip Tease is a pretty neutral peach with pearlescent shimmer. It’s quite sheer so it makes the perfect daytime gloss. It’s also great for layering over lipstick; you could give your favourite colour lipstick a serious hit of shine. I’ve been wearing it to work and I always keep a bottle of water on my desk to sip throughout the day, impressively this gloss lasted till lunch, after drinking the water and a cup of coffee. I was surprised by how comfortable it is to wear. It is not sticky at all; in fact it feels quite moisturising on, almost like a balm.

The mirror on the tube is really handy and I wish more lip products had one. The packaging is quite sleek and it’s sturdy enough to chuck in your handbag.

Are you looking forward to ditching heavier lip products for gloss this summer? Do you like a neutral or dramatic gloss?
